Wish Me Luck

I have to go to see my doctor in Houston tomorrow and get a ultra-sound done on my neck to look at my lymph nodes. Please pray that every thing will be fine and I won't have to do anything else to my face.

Channing Young and family are leaving for Washington state today(sniff sniff).

Dance Revolution

Sooooooo...

Dance Revolution was so much fun!! Here it goes!
Thursday:
We got there the first night and everyone was pumped and ready to go. All of the Apprentice girls got bags filled with snacks, hair bands, etc. Our hotel was really nice and the dance rooms were huge.
Friday:
Early Friday morning we started off the weekend with a general warm up in the senior ballroom. Then everyone went to the right ballroom (either Junior or Senior) and started their first class. After two classes it was time for lunch. We ordered Jason's Deli and they catered for us. Two more dance classes after that then a snack and an elective class. After Elective we rehearsed our hip-hop dance with Miss Connie. We hurried up to our rooms to get ready for Showcase and eat dinner. At 6:00 sharp we all met in the dressing room backstage at Showcase and eagerly awaited our cue to go on stage. My dance was #17 but some girls had quick changes so when we missed our cue they pushed us back a dance so we were then #18. Hip-hop went really well and at the end when they were critiquing us one person said, "Whoever choreographed that ROCKS!" I could see Connie when she said that and Connie was really proud of us. After Showcase we had a DR PJ party and then packed backpacks full of school supplies for the Back to School Bash the next day. After praying over the backpacks we went to sleep for only about 7-8 hours. Then...
Saturday:
We got up and had Starbucks coffee before heading to the Senior ballroom for a briefing on the Back to School Bash (BTSB). We then carpooled to an apartment complex in downtown Dallas where we had snow cones, popcorn, ice cream, drinks, games, bounce house, dance competitions, etc. It was hot and sweaty but I think it was worth it. After we were done we went to Whataburger for lunch and went back to the hotel for a quick dip in the pool then a rest and dinner. After dinner we all met back in the Senior ballroom for a worship service that lasted for three hours! Everybody was very emotional and for me it was too long! After that we had a Suzanne's PJ party. We played Little Sally Walker in the downstairs lobby while people in business suits walked by and gave us weird looks. We also played Palm trees and Coconuts, and Cat and Mouse. We thought everybody went back to their rooms but at midnight we heard Mrs.Suzanne and the Company girls singing Happy Birthday to Mrs. Suzanne and a girl named Taylor Beyer because it was their birthdays. Sunday was their b-day so they waited until midnight.
Sunday.
We had a worship service Sunday morning then two dance classes back to back. We had lunch then the faculty show and awards. My friend Abby Gilliland got the Junior Scholarship and Aubrie Woods got the Senior Scholarship. It was already 3:00 so everybody went home after the Faculty show and rested after it was all over.

That was my weekend and I hope you liked it!
